The works we publish are unique and uphold an iconoclastic nature in opposition to the many popular publications in our modern landscape. The issue is just that; publications have become a popularity contest at the sacrifice of substantial literature. Our house stands with the firm belief that many generational talents are squandered due to not fitting a corporate mold. Many books are neglected before their first page if they refuse to comply with a trending genre or if they feature ideologies too complex or too strenuous for modern readers. Our mission statement is this: We will publish recognized talent regardless of trend, what is safe to turn a profit, or what is a safe message for readers. Our works may be challenging, absurd, or vulgar, but our works will not shy away from truth and sincerity. If we allow writing to become walled by the governance of genre and the comfort of safe storytelling, we will neglect the writers who would otherwise become revolutionary, and worse, we will neglect the public of their right to interpreting all themes and messages regardless of their intent.

Many historical authors and poets died without ever seeing a glimpse of their glory or future earnings. Many were poor their entire lives. A face on the street. Nobody. They were minds constantly at work, and through their crafted words, we are gifted their glorious ponderings that explore the deeper psyche of what it is to be a human being. ROT IRON wishes to claim the obvious and strikingly urgent task of acknowledging our current brilliant minds before their death.

Language has proven more mighty than any weapon and more efficient than any physical tool. Each day, another shuffling of language occurs, and each day, a writer is born. Speaking directly to these writers: you are welcome at our house, and we see you. Speaking directly to our readers: may our art never lead you astray.
